Chloe is 113 pounds. Her coat has recovered to a glossy black. Her tail has finally healed from the many explosions due to "happy tail" We actually had to remove part of it so she could wag it without it hitting everything. The end was broken when we got her so it snapped like a whip when she would wag it. She has an affinity to small squeaky toys and I think she has part retriever because she kloves for me to throw it so she can run after it.

My Chloe Bell is now 109 pounds from 90 when we got her. She is a Great companion. She watches over me when I have my migraines and is a sweet travel partner from my husband and me. We love her dearly.

Please keep us updated on her recovery. It's horrible to see danes, and all dogs, neglected and given up like s/thing disposable. All my dogs are rescues and people should at least be aware of the option of adopting purbred dogs like Chole and my Zoie that are in need of a good forever home. A large number of purebred and mix breed danes are needing adopted all over the U.S. Danes bond with their people very quickly and it's really tough on them being in a rescue group or shelter. I commend you guys for your volunteer work. For you guys reading, there is a lot of ways to volunteer so please offer your time to a rescue group.

Laura & Scott, when you came to St Louis that day, I had no idea that we would begin a long lasting relationship. You both are wonderful people, and I felt an instant connection with you both. I am so grateful that you both, along with Brandy, found a bonding connection with Chloe. I believe she is on the road to recovery, and this meeting of ours was meant to be. I truly believe in things like this. What a beautiful day that was. I look forward to keeping in touch with you both, and hearing more about the fur babies! Symba, Mollie and Spike send their loving woofs to you all!

I saw Laura last week and was able to meet the new Great Dane in their family. She was a sweet gentle and big dog. She smelled me and then she was just fine. I have to tell you that she is the luckiest dog in the world to have Laura and Scott as her parents:) They take great care of their dogs, but most of all they love them.
