The Midwest Region

Also known as "Middle West" by some, spans the Northern section of the U.S. and is centered between the Rocky and Appalachian mountains. Southward the Midwest region borders the the state of Missouri (See our South directory). Being the only region of the U.S. without an ocean as part of its border, States in this geographical location harbor some of the richest farmland on Earth! Farming for crops such as corn, soybean and wheat is ever abundant, as well as Cattle farms for dairy and beef products.

Ironically, the area also holds some of the most heavily industrialized cities. Often referred to as the "rust belt". Cities such as Detroit and the States Michigan, and Wisconsin as a whole played a major role in automotive history. Great Dane breeders are plentiful in the Midwest, hopefully you'll find one near you.

Illinois:

Iowa:

Kansas:

Michigan:

Our (fawn & brindle) breeders include " www.rokadane.com" of Union, Michigan. Their beautiful dogs are bred by stock that is researched clear of other colors back to the early 20th Century!
