Hi just wanted to update Graycens info. I am very sad to say that Graycen has been diagnosed with Addisons. I first questioned his health when he started to sleep a lot more then was normal for him. He was always the first dane to get up and the last to go to sleep. He also had lost weight, he is down to 128 lbs. from 140 lbs. in a matter of a few weeks. Lost interest in eating,and had occasional vomiting & diarrhea.
I took him to the vet had blood tests done and his cortisol levels were low. Then proceeded with ACTH test and it came back positive. My Vet said that we should see a difference in Graycen's energy level within a week.
Any info about Addisons would be greatly appreciated.
