We recently purchased their large dog jacket in a few different sizes for Great Dane testing and absolutely love it. The photos of Bruiser were just taken Thanksgiving morning after a surprising early season snowfall.
We are quite pleased with the fit, quality, and durability of this jacket. Warmly, the red dog jacket Bruiser is wearing in the photos is of the original cut and pattern. Nothing wrong with the jacket, yet we wanted to improve on the design. Over the past week, we have worked closely with Black Dog Farm and modified the cut to offer more coverage of a Great Danes deep tapered chest. We've got it just right, Black Dog's large dog jacket is perfect for Great Danes. Similar in design to an equine foal blanket, the large dog jacket is easy to put on and offers free range of movement. The reflective stripe shines brightly and helps us spot our boy when he's off into the woods at night. Winter protection at its best, this double layer coat features a water repellent and wind resistant denier 500 nylon shell. The lining is warm Malden Mills polar fleece. The coat has Velcro closures on the neck, and belly straps to assure a snug, custom fit. A green stripe with silver reflective strip adds visibility and safety during dark winter nights.
