This is our 6 month old blue
male Magnus...or Mag-pie, he also answers to Pie.
We got him when he was 12 weeks old in the end of July. Although we had been thinking about getting him for two years, it was sort of on a whim. We were sick of waiting until the camping season ended and since we live at work, (campground), we thought this would be the perfect time for a puppy. I think it was meant to be because he had been purchased but returned due to some cloudiness, (a cataract), in his eyes and he was going to be left alone for ten hours out of the day. So, we are able to be with him 24/7 and he is going to get the cataract removed in two or three months.
That is his story so far and we are learning new things about him every day. Magnus loves going for car rides and we can't get him off the golf cart. He is a speedy learner and VERY sneaky! I get to take him to work with me and we have found out he is the notorious beanie baby theif. Magnus is our first Great Dane and we are already talking about our next one...maybe a girl next time! he is the 'camp dog'. All the kids love him and people constantly remain intrigued. We love the reaction we receive when people are corrected about him not being a Weimeraner (sp)!
